I agree that happiness is an effect of doing certain activities.

Another form of happiness comes from gratitude — which for me, is a skill that can be developed.

All of our lives are filled with similar elements: fear, frustrations, hopes, desires, suffering, boredom, celebration, etc.

It’s easy to be happy in good times but when we learn to see the good in the toughest of the times, every day becomes a blessing.

It’s about shifting your perspective so you can live a more peaceful life. And that’s what I mean when I say it is a skill that you can practice to develop — learning to shift perspective at any time.
